La Maison Gaston: Spotlighting Artists from the French Islands

About La Maison Gaston
Shaped by her travels and academic exchange in Taiwan, Christelle Clairville came to appreciate the impact artistic expression has in forming a culture, leading her to rediscover the rich arts scene of her native Caribbean island, Guadeloupe. Inspired by the power of art, she founded La Maison Gaston to spotlight Creole artists and designers and bring forward narratives from the peripheries. Her vision of art is rooted in emotion; an energy that transcends prejudice and builds bridges between hearts.
Each piece offered by La Maison Gaston tells a story of its territory, whether from the Caribbean French islands or La Réunion in the Indian Ocean. These works, unique or limited editions, are fragments of a universal narrative shaped by Native American, European, African, and Indian heritage.
La Maison Gaston is looking for high-end and luxury interior design projects, and aims to meet with showrooms showcasing exceptional creations, as well as contemporary art galleries willing to collaborate with Creole artists and designers.
